history
Our company dates back to 1969 when Bennie Hoof started a tree nursery in Oud Zevenaar on a one-hectare plot of land. Together with his wife Anneke he expanded the company into a full-blown tree nursery of four hectares. Until 1986 many varieties of shrubs and conifers were grown successfully, mostly from own seedlings. The unique know-how thus acquired and combined with the good growth quality of the seedlings, which were more and more used by fellow arboculturists, led to a specialisation in this direction. In 1986 Hoof Plantgoedcultures switched over completely to seedlings and the company has grown into one of the leading companies in this field in Europe. The future quality of the company is secured through the succession of Bennie and Anneke by their son Ralph.
